What can qualify a cart for a gift?
A campaign can qualify through a specific product, collection membership, or a cart subtotal threshold.
Can one cart receive multiple Gift Engine gifts?
No. Gift Engine selects one eligible gift. Specific-product campaigns take precedence, then collection campaigns, then the highest qualifying subtotal campaign. Priority resolves exact ties.
Does Gift Engine edit theme code?
No manual theme-code editing is required. Storefront behavior uses a Shopify Theme App Extension and App Embed.
Will Gift Engine work with other discounts?
Other discounts and Shopify combination settings can affect checkout. Test planned combinations before publishing a campaign.
Pricing and availability
How does the 14-day trial work?
The trial is intended to be enabled through Shopify App Pricing. Before public billing opens, Gift Engine’s website uses informational CTAs and does not start a trial or charge.
Are there usage fees or order commissions?
No. Gift Engine Pro is designed as a flat monthly or annual subscription without order commissions or usage fees.
Support and privacy
What shopper data does Gift Engine store?
Gift Engine does not intentionally store shopper names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers, payment-card data, or complete cart histories. See the Privacy Policy for the exact data categories and retention periods.
